PlayerForge is a matchmaking, events and tournament platform that has been in the planning for over a decade. Started by two gamers who have been around since the birth of Counter-Strike they have seen the game grow from a simple Half Life mod, to a massive online game filling servers and arenas with fans from all around the world.
During the life of Counter-Strike there have been a small number of successful online platforms that have helped the game grow in both popularity and entertainment. Something that is slowly being forgotten though is the fun aspect of Counter-Strike.
PlayerForge understands the need for a competitive environment for players to practise, compete and improve in. From their first game, to their progression through the ranks as they embark on a competitive journey it is important for them to have a reliable, consistent platform they know has their interests in mind.
Another key part to any platform is an anti-cheat. CS2 in-game matchmaking is littered with cheaters, at every level. Making the grind both frustrating and not enjoyable, then depending on which tournaments you take part in there are a wide selection of anti-cheat clients you might have to use that deliver varying levels of protection.
That is why we have developed our own anti-cheat, leading the path for a secure and competitive experience.
As we enter the final stages of our phase 1 development cycle, we are almost ready to start the beta testing phase. We will launch a portion of our matchmaking along with our anti-cheat to ensure all your matches are protected. Note we will be hammering out any kinks during this initial launch and listening closely to feedback.
